Speaker's Bureau
Many of our attorneys -- from the most senior partner to junior associates -- are
actively engaged in the preparation and presentation of talks, lectures and seminar
presentations to an assortment of audiences in Baltimore, Maryland and across the country.
Every year, many of our attorneys participate in the Maryland State Bar Association's
"Law Day" celebrations, speaking to small groups of school students throughout
the Baltimore area about law and the legal profession.
Our lawyers also address large gatherings of lawyers at some of the nation's most
prestigious continuing legal education seminars. Our attorneys regularly present speeches
and seminars on a wide variety of litigation and litigation management topics to seminars
sponsored by the Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers, the
Defense Research Institute, the Federation of Insurance and Commercial Counsel, the
International Association of Defense Counsel, the American Bar Association and the Network
of Trial Law Firms, among others.
We believe that the presentation of seminars and lectures on specific aspects of
interest can be a useful tool in helping to prevent litigation. The goal of such talks is
to make non-lawyers aware of the importance that their daily activities can assume when
viewed in the litigation context. For example, many of our lawyers have spoken to groups
of health care professionals on the legal aspects of health care, including malpractice
issues arising from specific claimed injuries, litigation concerns in establishing a
practice, and the prevention of documentation pitfalls.
Our attorneys are available to speak to your organization, and we will be glad to
arrange for someone to speak on issues within our principal areas of practice. These are:
