A.2d 683 (1991). Represented an academic medical center in connection with a certified
question to the Court of Appeals of Maryland addressing the confidentiality of peer review
materials and the United States District Court’s authority to seal a public record in
which the hospital had filed peer review information.
Price v. Howard County General Hospital, U.S. District Court for the District of
Maryland, 950 F.Supp. 141. Involved a physician who brought a conspiracy claim against
hospital; hospital sought information from physician’s confidential medical peer
review files. Defendant hospital’s access to physician’s peer review committee
files granted.
