Ms. Magliocca is an associate with the firm. She practices in the areas of products liability, general liability defense, and in the defense of healthcare professionals and institutions against claims of medical malpractice. Ms. Magliocca is responsible for all phases of case management and trial preparation, including the development of liability and causation issues, pleadings and discovery preparation, communication with medical expert witnesses, the taking and defending of depositions, settlement negotiations and court presentations.
Ms. Magliocca participated in the defense of a nationally prominent institution in a large number of pediatric toxic exposure cases. Those cases involved both an environmental research study dealing with lead in inner city homes and a clinical study dealing with the effects of medicating children with elevated blood lead levels. Ms. Magliocca also represents the insureds of general liability carriers with an emphasis in personal injury and premises liability.
