Michele Kendus

PROFILE

Ms. Kendus is a partner with the firm.  She handles litigation issues for clients facing pharmaceutical, medical products liability, and medical malpractice claims. Ms. Kendus also assists medical professionals in responding to and defending issues brought before the state licensing boards.  In addition, Ms. Kendus assists medical professionals to transition between practices, advising on issues regarding contract termination and initiation, and practice risk management.

Prior to beginning her law career, Ms. Kendus was a registered nurse. Her clinical knowledge provides her an edge in analyzing complex medical and scientific issues and in communicating with experts. Ms. Kendus' enthusiasm for the law has gained her immediate experience in trial and depositions. Her combined talents enable her to effectively manage cases from the pleadings stage through complex discovery to trial or settlement. Ms. Kendus has tried several products liability, personal injury, and premises liability cases to verdict.

Ms. Kendus' has researched and drafted several successful Daubert and Frye motions to exclude Plaintiffs' expert witnesses. Additionally, Ms. Kendus has crafted numerous successful motions for dismissal and for summary judgment.
